Our house

Made in Champagne, made in France.
A modern, responsible, and uninhibited Champagne house.

Welcome to Champagne Prophète & CO!

In the heart of the Coteaux du Sézannais, Champagne Prophète & CO
is above all a family story.
We, Corentin and Océane, brother and sister united by our sibling bond,
launched the Prophète & CO house in 2020 with a simple idea:
to offer a Champagne that reflects who we are, combining identity, modernity, and pleasure.

In Barbonne-Fayel, in the south of the Marne

Our family farm is located in the small village of Barbonne-Fayel,
in the Coteaux du Sézannais, in the heart of Champagne.
The most prominent grape variety is Chardonnay
(hence our signature Blanc de Blancs cuvée, a 100% Chardonnay)

The Prophète & CO family

Corentin, the son:
between the vines and the bottles, always on the move to promote the estate.

Océane, the daughter:
behind the social networks, the image, and the development of Prophète & CO.

Philippe, the dad:
the man of the vine, the machinery, and guardian of the estate's expertise.

Carine, the mom:
at the heart of the estate's organization, between the vines and the behind-the-scenes of daily life.

"Prophète" :
nm. "One who announces an event in advance through clairvoyance or intuition"
And yes, this atypical name is our surname! Winemakers for several generations, we are proud to continue the work of our ancestors and pay tribute to them through this Champagne brand.

"& CO"
:
for our initials Corentin and Océane, brother and sister
But also CO for: Community, Conviviality, Compassion, Collective, Cocorico...

The cool hand

« Legend has it that it's a nod to our family name.

Some might see the position of a hand when holding a glass of Champagne.

Others might see our main work tool, the expertise of the Champagne region, or even just a pretty cool hand gesture.

The most important thing is to see it as the sign of a relaxed Champagne brand. »

Our Vineyard

At Prophète & CO, our vineyard plots feature the 3 iconic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier. Discover these 3 grape varieties in our cuvées.

Taking great care of the environment has enabled our estate to be certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC).

HVE is the highest of the three levels of environmental certification for farms. It proves that the estate is committed to the ecological transition.

VDC is a label unique to us, exclusively for the Champagne region. It is the result of a voluntary approach based on our daily commitment to several key areas: preservation of biodiversity, enhancement of the landscape, respect for our terroir and constant innovation.

Our Wine Press and the Grape Harvest

In Champagne, 100% of the grapes dedicated to the Champagne appellation are picked… by hand! Every year, we recruit an elite team to harvest our precious grapes. At Prophète & CO, the harvest lasts about 10 to 12 days of picking.

Once picked, the grapes are pressed in our 6000 kg Coquard press located in Barbonne-Fayel, allowing for a gentle and slow pressing, ensuring optimal grape juice quality.

The harvest: a key moment of the year!

Our champagnes

Discover our different Champagne cuvées: Brut, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, Vieilles Vignes. Four styles, four atmospheres, but always the same guiding principle: depth, balance, and freshness.

Each one reveals the diversity of the Champagne terroir, driven by a collective dynamic.
